Anna’s love for entertaining guests started back in high school when she would host dinner parties, yes dinner parties. Later, as a travel coordinator for film and television, she developed a knowledge of luxe hotels up and down the east coast, and what made one stand out from another: service. Anna then found herself heading up the sales team at Ace Hotel Pittsburgh, working with some of the best in the industry. She has gathered them all once again at Hideaway Co.
During a visit to Hideaway, you'll likely meet team members Haeli and husband, Darryl. This duo are multi-talented; when they are not helping at Hideaway, are likely found tending to their Garrett County commercial hemp farm. Darryl's family farm has been passed down for over 100 years, where they also grow the beautiful Meadow Mountain microgreens and edible flowers that garnish Hideaway's signature cocktails and weekend meals.
One of the many ways we set ourselves apart is with a full food and beverage program – so, your Hideaway experience can include all meals if you wish. Chef Kevin sources the best seasonal produce, farm raised meat and local cheeses to incorporate into our menus. Having worked at both luxury brand hotels and neighborhood bistros, Kevin has 26 years experience cooking professionally. He has a passion for the outdoors, building relationships with local food farmers and producers, and giving guests a special, tailored experience. Chef Kevin is excited to bring all of his experience and passion to Hideaway, working with local farms and a variety of culinary (influences) to bring a unique time-and-place (dining) experience to you in the rolling hills of Western Maryland.
