Three Rivers Outdoor Co - Hike Scenic Swallow Falls (June 12 & 19)

Enjoy an intimate group hike along the less travelled trail into Swallow Falls State Park along a beautiful meandering stream. We will meet at the trailhead then hike at leisurely pace roughly 1.5 hours /3 miles to Swallow Falls State Park. Here you will have an hour to enjoy the beauty of the park on your own via the 1.1 mile Swallow Falls Canyon Loop trail which passes by four waterfalls, cuts under towering sandstone cliffs, and meanders through the last remaining stand of virgin hemlock and white pine trees in Maryland. If the group desires we can head down to the river for a dip in the hot summer months, or we can return back towards the vehicles but stop to enjoy lunch, hammocking, and an opportunity to relax or journal by the peaceful clear stream we passed on the way in.

Total Mileage: aprox 7 miles
Duration: 4-5 hours

Three Rivers Outdoor Co - Stand-up Paddleboarding the Savage Reservoir (June 5 & 26)

Beat the heat of summer on a stand-up paddleboard while paddling around a beautiful mountain lake. Get away from the hustle and bustle of Deep Creek Lake and lets explore the coves and cliff sides of the Savage River Reservoir with calm waters. You will learn the basics of paddle boarding so you can meander around the lake as you look for eagles above and discover the joys of SUPPing these quiet waters. Meet at 11am at the Savage Reservoir with a brief land side instruction before we head out. We will then paddle about the reservoir  for a few hours with a brief break for lunch at a secluded cove. Return to Ramp by 3pm.

Coopers Rock is a hidden gem for climbers in the mid-Atlantic region. Located close to Morgantown and a two hour drive from Pittsburgh its a great spot for beginners and advanced clilmbers alike as it hosts hundreds of established boulder routes for all skill levels.  We provide any needed gear, climbing shoes and crashpads,  and 3ROC climbing guides will be available to assist or point you in the right direction. This is a bouldering only trip, no top-roping instruction provided. Get the full trip details here.

This lazy day includes a gentle float, an all levels yoga class (on or off your board) and lots of hang time in Confluence, PA. SUPing is one of our favorite, low impact ways to lose the crowds in the summertime. As always, all gear and a healthy lunch will be provided.

Wildom Farm is a regenerative farm prioritizing animal welfare, ecology and human health. Simply put, they produce food that is good for the animals, the land and you. Their mission is to regenerate the land by integrating domestic species while leaving space for all that is wild - we call it Wildom. We raise poultry and cattle on pasture and pigs in the forest, each animal plays a specific role in adding nutrients to restore biodiversity on the farm. Let us show you how food can be produced in a way that positively impacts the environment!
